How Ahwatukee’s layout and age affect roofs

Ahwatukee is a residential enclave; most homes are single-family, built mainly between the 1980s and 1990s, with some from the 1970s and some from the 2000s. Phoenix annexed the area in stages between 1980 and 1987. For roofing, a few patterns stand out:
